Inkspot

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026

Inkspot is a browser extension that lets you draw and annotate on top of any webpage. This policy explains what data the extension handles.

1. Data collection

Inkspot does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, browsing history, page content, or annotation data. The extension has no backend, no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party services of any kind.

2. Annotation data

All annotations you make exist only in the memory of the browser tab you are using them on. They are not saved anywhere — not to your device, not to any server. When you close the overlay, switch tabs, or reload the page, annotations are discarded.

3. Permissions

Inkspot uses two Chrome permissions:

Neither permission is used to read, track, or exfiltrate page content.

4. Third parties

Inkspot does not share data with any third party because it does not collect any data.

5. Children

Inkspot does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

6. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
